It reduces likelihood of dressing movement and device dislodgement creating a lasting occlusive barrier that lessens risk of infection. This non-water soluble secures even in moist or moisture-prone areas and is compatible with Chlorahexadine Gluconate. It is clinically-proven and tested to improve the adhesive power of a variety of different adhesive tapes/dressings even in the most difficult dressing for an extended time .
